The Nike Vaporfly Flyknit 4% – the consumer version of the Vaporfly Elite that Eliud Kipchoge wore for the breaking2 project – were hugely popular with runners looking for an edge. And now Nike has launched the successor, the Nike ZoomX Vaporfly Next%, its fastest running shoe ever.

I’ve been lucky enough to run in all three pairs of the running shoes some people think are so good they actually constitute ‘shoe doping’, giving those who can wear them an unfair advantage.
